As parents we have the same goal as teachers as it relates to our child's education. The only difference is, how they are taught. As parents, our children learn by what they see and hear from us. With teachers, they have set curriculum to present and test to determine if the child is passing or failing. In other words, they have structured learning to determine if meeting educational requirements. This is why we as parents have to develop a Parent/Teacher alliance. As a parent, we shouldn't place all the responsibility of teaching our children on teachers. Our children should have equal balance of what is taught in schools and what is taught at home.
